Responsibilities
- Sort, organize, and deliver mail and parcels to residential and commercial addresses
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and efficiently while adhering to traffic laws
- Collect outgoing mail from designated collection boxes and customer locations
- Maintain accurate delivery records and report any irregularities or hazards
- Provide courteous customer service and resolve delivery-related inquiries
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and ensure proper loading/unloading of mail
- Adhere to USPS regulations, safety protocols, and delivery time standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status
- Basic computer literacy for digital mail processing systems
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Flexibility to work in various weather conditions
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
