Responsibilities
- Sort, organize, and deliver mail/packages to residential and commercial addresses
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and efficiently in all weather conditions
- Maintain accurate delivery records and customer communication logs
- Process customer transactions at retail counters (if applicable)
- Adhere to strict security protocols and USPS regulations
- Operate scanning technology for package tracking
- Perform light maintenance on delivery equipment
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for scanning systems
- Ability to walk 5-8 miles daily on varied terrain
- Strong customer service orientation
