Responsibilities
- Sort, organize, and deliver mail/packages according to established routes and schedules
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and maintain accurate delivery records
- Provide exceptional customer service during interactions at mailboxes and post offices
- Handle customer inquiries regarding mail services and resolve delivery issues
- Maintain security protocols for mail handling and vehicle operations
- Operate scanning equipment to track delivery confirmations
- Assist in postal facility operations during peak seasons
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds repeatedly
- Strong customer service orientation and communication skills
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic computer literacy for scanning systems
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status
- Pass background check and drug screening
