Responsibilities
- Sort, organize, and deliver mail and packages to residential and commercial addresses along designated routes
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and maintain accurate route records
- Collect outgoing mail and process postage payments from customers
- Handle customer inquiries regarding mail services with professionalism
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and USPS regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery records and report irregularities
- Operate scanning devices to track delivery confirmations
- Perform light lifting (up to 35 lbs) and work in various weather conditions
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Physical stamina to stand/walk for extended periods and lift mail sacks
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Basic computer literacy for scanning devices
- Strong time management and route navigation skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
