Responsibilities
- Sort, organize, and process incoming/outgoing mail and packages according to USPS standards
- Operate mail handling machinery including scanners and sorting equipment
- Load/unload trucks and maintain accurate delivery/pickup records
- Provide exceptional customer service at retail counters and assist with inquiries
- Maintain clean and organized workspaces following safety protocols
- Adhere to strict delivery timelines and quality control measures
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient mail flow operations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy and ability to learn USPS systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred
