Responsibilities
- Sort and distribute mail/packages efficiently using automated and manual systems
- Deliver mail to residential and commercial addresses along assigned routes
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and maintain accurate delivery records
- Collect outgoing mail and process postage payments
- Maintain clean and organized workspaces at postal facilities
- Interact professionally with customers and resolve delivery inquiries
- Adhere to USPS safety protocols and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Indiana driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly
- Basic computer literacy for scanning systems
- US citizenship or permanent residency status
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Flexible availability including weekends/holidays
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
