Responsibilities
- Sort, organize, and prepare mail for timely delivery according to postal regulations
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and maintain accurate delivery routes
- Provide exceptional customer service at retail counters and via phone inquiries
- Process and distribute incoming/outgoing mail and parcels accurately
- Operate mail processing machinery and sorting equipment efficiently
- Maintain accurate delivery records and handle customer concerns professionally
- Adhere to all postal security protocols and safety standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic computer literacy for mail tracking systems
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
