Job Overview:
In this role, you will ensure the accurate and timely delivery of mail and packages while providing exceptional customer service. You will work in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and physical stamina are required.
Responsibilities
- Sort and process incoming and outgoing mail according to established procedures and priorities.
- Load and unload mail and packages from vehicles, ensuring weight limits are respected.
- Deliver mail to residential and business customers along assigned routes in a safe and timely manner.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding mail delivery status and resolve issues professionally.
- Collect and process postage due on packages.
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of vehicles and work areas.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid state driver's license (for motorized delivery routes).
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 70 pounds repeatedly.
- U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency status is required.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
