Responsibilities
- Sort, process, and deliver mail/packages according to USPS standards and route schedules
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and maintain accurate delivery logs
- Collect and process customer payments for postage and services
- Provide excellent customer service at retail counters and during delivery interactions
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, returns, and customer inquiries
- Adhere to all postal regulations, safety protocols, and operational procedures
- Assist in mailroom operations during peak seasons or staff shortages
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for tracking systems and customer service software
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and independently
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Previous delivery or customer service experience preferred
