Responsibilities
- Sort, process, and manage mail and packages efficiently according to postal standards.
- Deliver mail to residential and business addresses in a timely and safe manner.
- Interact professionally with customers, answer inquiries, and handle packages with care.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the local post office facility and vehicles.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures while operating delivery vehicles.
- Manage time effectively to meet daily delivery quotas and schedules.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or have permanent resident status.
- Ability to pass a background check and a pre-employment drug screen.
- Must possess a valid driver's license (for city carrier positions).
- Good physical stamina to handle lifting packages (up to 70 lbs) and walking long distances.
