Responsibilities
- Develop and execute multi-channel public relations campaigns
- Manage official social media platforms and digital content
- Coordinate press conferences and media events
- Write press releases, speeches, and policy briefings
- Analyze public sentiment and adjust communication strategies
- Liaise with city departments and external stakeholders
- Track media coverage and compile analytics reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, or related field
- 3+ years of professional PR/government communications experience
- Strong writing and editing skills with portfolio samples
- Proficiency with CMS, social media analytics, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Valid Florida driver's license
- Ability to obtain security clearance
- Experience working with local government preferred
