Responsibilities
- Lead multi-agency emergency response coordination during public health crises
- Develop and implement crisis communication strategies for diverse audiences
- Manage emergency resources including PPE, testing supplies, and medical equipment
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation protocols for emerging threats
- Train community partners and frontline responders in emergency protocols
- Collaborate with state/federal agencies to align response efforts
- Monitor public health data trends and adapt strategies proactively
- Prepare comprehensive incident reports and after-action analyses
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Emergency Management, or related field
- Minimum 3 years crisis response coordination experience
- Certification in Incident Command System (ICS-300) or equivalent
- Demonstrated experience with public health emergency protocols
- Exceptional crisis communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work 24/7 shifts during declared emergencies
- Valid Nebraska driver's license with clean driving record
- Proficiency in emergency management software (e.g., WebEOC, EMTrack)
