Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee comprehensive public health programs targeting chronic disease prevention and health equity
- Manage $2M+ annual budgets, ensuring fiscal accountability and grant compliance
- Lead cross-functional teams of 15+ staff and community partners
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and program gaps
- Coordinate with local healthcare providers, schools, and nonprofit organizations
- Prepare detailed reports for county commissioners and state health agencies
- Implement evidence-based interventions aligned with CDC and state health objectives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Public Administration, or related field
- 5+ years experience in public health program management or related role
- Proven track record of managing budgets exceeding $1M
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Advanced data analysis skills with proficiency in SPSS/R/STATA
- Experience developing health equity initiatives for diverse populations
- Strong knowledge of Colorado public health regulations and funding mechanisms
- Exceptional communication skills for stakeholder engagement and policy advocacy
