Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and evaluate public health programs targeting underserved Chicago communities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and inform strategic interventions
- Coordinate with community organizations, healthcare providers, and local government agencies
- Design and deliver health education materials and outreach initiatives
- Prepare grant proposals and manage program budgets with fiscal accountability
- Monitor program performance metrics and prepare comprehensive impact reports
- Stay current with public health regulations and best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Health Administration, Social Work, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of public health program experience in government or nonprofit setting
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Demonstrated experience in community outreach and stakeholder engagement
- Strong grant writing and budget management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Knowledge of Chicago's public health landscape and health disparities
