Responsibilities
- Analyze legislative proposals and regulatory impacts on city operations
- Conduct quantitative/qualitative research using statistical software (SPSS/R)
- Develop policy briefs and executive summaries for city council
- Coordinate cross-departmental task forces for strategic initiatives
- Present findings to stakeholders and community groups
- Monitor federal/state compliance requirements for municipal programs
- Manage grant applications and compliance reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or related field
- 3+ years of policy analysis or government experience
- Advanced proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI)
- Deep understanding of Texas municipal governance structures
- Strong written/verbal communication with executive audiences
- Experience with stakeholder engagement processes
- Valid Texas driver's license
