Responsibilities
- Analyze complex legislative proposals and recommend evidence-based policy solutions
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for county board meetings
- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams to implement community initiatives
- Monitor compliance with state/federal regulations and best practices
- Conduct stakeholder engagement sessions with community organizations
- Manage grant applications and compliance documentation
- Track policy outcomes using data analytics and reporting tools
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of government or public sector experience
- Advanced proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI)
- Valid California driver's license
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to obtain security clearance within 30 days
- Experience with public budgeting processes
- Certification in Policy Analysis (PPA or equivalent) a plus
