Responsibilities
- Dispatch police, fire, and emergency medical services via CAD/RMS systems
- Maintain precise radio communication protocols during critical incidents
- Provide crisis intervention and emergency medical instructions to callers
- Document incident details with accuracy and timeliness
- Coordinate multi-agency responses during major emergencies
- Operate enhanced 911 systems with location mapping capabilities
- Participate in continuous training on emergency protocols and new technologies
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred
- Minimum 1 year customer service or call center experience
- Valid Arizona driver's license
- Ability to pass extensive background check and polygraph examination
- Typing speed of 40+ WPM with 95% accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Emergency medical dispatch certification (preferred)
