Responsibilities
- Coordinate emergency response for police, fire, and medical services during weekend shifts
- Maintain accurate logs of all incidents and communications using CAD/RMS systems
- Provide clear, calm direction to first responders and the public during critical situations
- Collaborate with weekend patrol units and support agencies for incident resolution
- Conduct preliminary incident assessments and dispatch appropriate resources
- Adhere to all federal, state, and municipal protocols for emergency communications
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Minimum 1 year dispatch/emergency communications experience
- Valid Minnesota driver's license
- National Incident Management System (NIMS) certification
- Ability to work rotating weekends and holidays
- Proficiency in CAD/RMS systems and multi-line telephony
- Excellent communication skills and crisis management abilities
