Responsibilities
- Patrol municipal buildings, parks, and facilities during overnight hours
- Monitor surveillance systems and respond to security alerts
- Enforce access controls and verify credentials for personnel
- Document incidents and prepare detailed security reports
- Coordinate with emergency services during critical situations
- Conduct regular safety inspections of assigned areas
- Assist with emergency preparedness drills and protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid New Mexico Security Guard License
- Minimum 1 year security or law enforcement experience
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work independently overnight shifts
- Strong observational and communication skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Proficient in surveillance technology and reporting systems
