Responsibilities
- Patrol designated city zones during night hours (10 PM - 6 AM) to deter crime and respond to emergencies
- Conduct thorough security assessments of public infrastructure, parks, and transit hubs
- Collaborate with state and federal agencies during critical incident responses
- Maintain detailed incident reports and digital evidence using specialized law enforcement software
- Provide first aid and crisis intervention until emergency medical units arrive
- Operate city vehicles and communication systems with precision and discretion
Qualifications
- Valid Texas Peace Officer License (TCLEOSE certification)
- Minimum 2 years law enforcement or security experience
- Ability to work independently in low-visibility conditions with minimal supervision
- Proficient in crisis de-escalation and conflict resolution techniques
- Must pass extensive background check and polygraph examination
- Advanced first aid/CPR certification required
- Fluency in English and Spanish preferred
