Responsibilities
- Patrol designated city zones during weekend shifts to maintain public safety and deter criminal activity
- Respond promptly to emergency calls, accidents, and public disturbances
- Enforce municipal ordinances and state laws with professionalism and impartiality
- Document incidents through detailed reports and digital evidence management
- Collaborate with weekend dispatch teams and on-call supervisors
- Conduct routine safety inspections of public facilities
- Assist with disaster response and emergency weekend operations
Qualifications
- Valid Florida Class 'D' Security Officer license or equivalent certification
- Minimum 2 years law enforcement or public safety experience
- Pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Ability to work weekends/holidays and flexible shifts
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- High school diploma or GED; college degree preferred
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean record
