Responsibilities
- Develop and execute emergency preparedness plans for Fort Worth communities
- Coordinate with local law enforcement and fire departments during crisis scenarios
- Conduct public safety training workshops for residents and businesses
- Analyze incident data to identify emerging safety trends
- Manage grant-funded safety improvement projects
- Prepare detailed incident reports and compliance documentation
- Lead community engagement initiatives to build safety awareness
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Emergency Management, or related field
- 3+ years public safety or government experience
- Texas Peace Officer License or EMT certification preferred
- Advanced knowledge of FEMA/NIMS protocols
- Strong analytical and crisis communication skills
- Proficiency in GIS mapping and emergency software
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean record
- Ability to work flexible hours including emergencies
