Role Overview:
You will support the daily operations of our department by managing information requests, maintaining filing systems, and ensuring the smooth flow of information between staff and the public.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist visitors and residents with inquiries in person and via phone/email.
- Process and verify documents, applications, and forms accurately.
- Maintain organized filing systems for both physical and digital records.
- Perform data entry tasks using internal government software and databases.
- Assist in the coordination of community outreach events and meetings.
- Ensure compliance with city policies, regulations, and procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to improve service delivery.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
