Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support to state employees and citizens, ensuring rapid resolution of IT issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and network systems across the department.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot complex technical problems to minimize downtime.
- Ensure strict compliance with state data security regulations and privacy standards.
- Document technical processes, create knowledge base articles, and conduct user training sessions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new technologies and improve operational efficiency.
- Manage hardware inventory and vendor relationships to ensure optimal equipment availability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- 3+ years of professional experience in IT support, systems administration, or a related technical role.
- Proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, and cloud-based solutions (e.g., Azure or AWS).
- Strong understanding of network protocols, hardware troubleshooting, and cybersecurity best practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, government environment.
