Responsibilities
- Manage constituent inquiries and resolve public service issues within SLA requirements
- Support community outreach initiatives including town halls and neighborhood meetings
- Assist in policy research and documentation for municipal programs
- Coordinate interdepartmental projects using Agile methodologies
- Maintain accurate records in city databases and reporting systems
- Conduct data analysis to inform service improvement strategies
- Support emergency response coordination during city-wide incidents
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or related field
- Minimum 2 years government or nonprofit administrative experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)
- Valid Oregon driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to pass Tier 2 federal background check
- Experience with constituent relationship management
- Knowledge of Portland city charter and municipal processes
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
