Responsibilities
- Manage incoming inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, directing citizens to the appropriate resources efficiently.
- Process and verify applications for government programs, maintaining accurate and confidential records.
- Assist in the coordination of community outreach events and public service workshops.
- Update and maintain the department's database using CRM software to ensure data integrity.
- Prepare routine reports and correspondence for senior management and regulatory bodies.
- Ensure all service delivery complies with city ordinances and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in administrative support, customer service, or a public sector environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and experience with government database systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse populations.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced government office setting.
