Responsibilities
- Conduct field inspections of construction projects for adherence to city codes and safety standards
- Review engineering plans and contractor compliance reports
- Document violations and issue corrective action notices
- Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and city officials
- Maintain detailed inspection records and digital documentation
- Participate in emergency response infrastructure assessments
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years construction inspection or civil engineering experience
- Valid Arizona Class C Driver's License
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification preferred
- Proficiency with CAD software and inspection reporting tools
- Ability to work in outdoor conditions and lift 25 lbs
- Strong written/verbal communication skills
- Government/public sector experience highly desirable
