Responsibilities
- Perform heavy manual labor including digging, lifting, and carrying materials (concrete, asphalt, soil)
- Operate light equipment (shovels, jackhammers, compactors) under supervision
- Assist in road repair, sidewalk installation, and park maintenance projects
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain clean job sites
- Collaborate with crew members to complete daily project goals
- Report equipment malfunctions and safety hazards immediately
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Basic understanding of construction safety standards
- Reliable transportation to various job sites within Allegheny County
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
