Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain light to medium construction equipment, including dump trucks, loaders, and skid steers.
- Perform manual labor tasks such as digging, paving, patching, and sweeping streets.
- Assist in snow removal and ice control operations during winter months.
- Set up and monitor traffic control devices, including cones, signs, and flagging operations.
- Inspect and repair public infrastructure, including manholes, catch basins, and drainage systems.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and OSHA regulations at all times.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and other crew members to ensure project efficiency.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment is a plus but not required.
- Must be willing to work overtime and weekends during peak seasons (e.g., snow season).
- Citizenship or legal authorization to work in the United States is required.
