Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling for infrastructure projects
- Operate and maintain hand tools, power equipment, and light machinery under supervision
- Assist in construction, repair, and maintenance of roads, sidewalks, and public facilities
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and OSHA regulations at all times
- Participate in storm response and emergency maintenance operations
- Maintain clean and organized work zones during and after project completion
- Collaborate with crew members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid New Jersey driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in all weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety procedures
- Must pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Experience in construction, landscaping, or maintenance preferred
