Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on city roads, sidewalks, and public facilities
- Operate light machinery (sweepers, mowers, snow removal equipment)
- Assist in park landscaping and green space upkeep
- Respond to weather-related emergencies (snow, flooding, etc.)
- Support construction projects under supervision
- Conduct safety inspections and report hazards
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and basic functionality
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Valid Wisconsin driver's license (Class B preferred)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Basic mechanical aptitude for equipment operation
- Strong commitment to public service and safety protocols
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
