Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of manual labor tasks related to road maintenance, including pothole repair, pavement patching, and crack sealing.
- Operate and maintain light to heavy equipment such as dump trucks, graders, and asphalt rollers under supervision.
- Assist in traffic control operations, including setting up cones, signs, and flagging operations to ensure worker and public safety.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and supplies for crew members using hand trucks, forklifts, or other material handling equipment.
- Assist in stormwater management tasks, including catch basin cleaning and maintenance.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to perform physical labor including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of construction or public works operations is preferred but not required.
- Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
- Willingness to work overtime and shift hours as needed.
