Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor including excavation, grading, and paving operations
- Operate light machinery (e.g., jackhammers, saws, and power tools)
- Assist in construction and maintenance of city sidewalks, curbs, and drainage systems
- Participate in snow removal and emergency weather response operations
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of public infrastructure
- Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on project timelines
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Missouri driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Experience with construction tools and equipment preferred
- Basic knowledge of traffic control and safety procedures
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Must pass pre-employment physical and background check
