Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance of water mains, valves, and fire hydrants.
- Operate heavy machinery, including backhoes, excavators, and trenchers, safely and efficiently.
- Repair and replace underground piping and sewer infrastructure as needed.
- Document work activities, material usage, and repair logs accurately.
- Ensure strict adherence to OSHA safety regulations and site protocols.
- Collaborate with field crews to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues promptly.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs and working in various weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of construction tools, hydraulic systems, and safety equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
