Responsibilities
- Design and implement hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for machine learning optimization
- Develop error-correction protocols for quantum neural networks
- Lead research initiatives in quantum-enhanced natural language processing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prototype quantum computing applications
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier scientific journals
- Secure federal and private research grants for quantum AI projects
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to open-source quantum frameworks
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Machine Learning, or Physics (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong background in deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow)
- Published research in quantum machine learning or quantum algorithms
- Proficiency with high-performance computing environments
- Experience with cloud quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical implementations
- Exceptional problem-solving skills for complex computational challenges
