Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum-AI hybrid architectures for enterprise-scale applications
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, ML engineers, and domain specialists
- Secure and manage multi-million dollar research grants from DARPA and NSF
- Develop patent-pending algorithms for quantum-resistant cryptography
- Present findings at global conferences including NeurIPS and Q2B
- Mentor PhD researchers and publish in top-tier journals
- Collaborate with MIT and Stanford on quantum-AI integration projects
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Machine Learning with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven track record publishing in Nature/Science or equivalent tier-1 journals
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and error correction protocols
- Strong Python/C++ programming with quantum frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Experience securing DoD or NSF grants ($1M+)
- Demonstrated ability to lead multi-disciplinary research teams
- Deep understanding of NISQ-era limitations and fault-tolerant computing roadmap
- Clearance eligibility or existing government security clearance preferred
