Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum machine learning algorithms for 2026-era computational challenges
- Lead cross-disciplinary research teams in quantum-AI fusion projects
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum neural networks
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum-AI hybrid processors
- Publish peer-reviewed research in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Secure government grants and industry partnerships for quantum-AI initiatives
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum machine learning programs
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Machine Learning, or Physics with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in quantum machine learning or quantum algorithms
- Proficiency in Qiskit, PennyLane, and quantum circuit optimization frameworks
- Expertise in tensor networks and quantum error correction techniques
- Track record of securing NSF/DARPA grants or equivalent funding
- Experience with superconducting qubits and trapped-ion systems
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical models into scalable implementations
