Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for enterprise-scale applications
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms to solve complex optimization problems
- Lead quantum security protocols for blockchain and data encryption systems
- Collaborate with R&D to prototype quantum hardware integration solutions
- Create quantum simulation frameworks for drug discovery and material science modeling
- Present quantum computing roadmaps to C-suite executives and industry partners
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum programming and error correction techniques
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent industry experience)
- 5+ years experience with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant design principles
- Proven track record publishing in quantum computing or peer-reviewed journals
- Strong background in cryptography and post-quantum security frameworks
- Experience leading cross-disciplinary technical teams in R&D environments
- Familiarity with NIS2 and quantum security compliance standards
