Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for enterprise-scale applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation
- Research and mitigate quantum decoherence challenges using novel error-correction techniques
- Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate quantum processors with classical computing systems
- Develop quantum security protocols for next-generation encryption standards
- Publish groundbreaking research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Mentor junior scientists in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's with 8+ years experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological quantum computing
- Expertise in quantum circuit optimization and compilation techniques
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and statistical mechanics
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum-specific libraries
- Demonstrated ability to secure quantum computing patents or publications
- Certification in quantum cloud platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
