Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures for commercial and research applications
- Lead development of quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant systems
- Collaborate with AI teams to integrate quantum acceleration into ML frameworks
- Establish security standards for quantum-resistant cryptographic systems
- Present quantum computing roadmaps to executive stakeholders and venture partners
- Mentor junior quantum engineers in cutting-edge research methodologies
- Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and industry conferences
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum algorithm optimization
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological quantum computing
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Experience leading cross-functional technical teams in R&D environments
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation techniques
- Strong background in cryogenic engineering and superconducting qubit systems
