Responsibilities
- Architect scalable quantum computing systems for commercial deployment by 2026
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams of physicists, engineers, and AI specialists
- Develop error-correction protocols for 1000+ qubit systems
- Design hybrid quantum-classical integration frameworks
- Secure $20M+ in government and private research grants
- File at least 3 quantum computing patents annually
- Mentor PhD researchers in quantum algorithm development
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years building quantum systems with >50 qubit stability
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum error correction
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, and D-Wave platforms
- Track record securing federal SBIR/STTR grants
- Proficiency in C++/Python for quantum simulation
- Experience with cryogenic engineering at millikelvin temperatures
- Fluency in quantum machine learning frameworks
