Responsibilities
- Design and execute quantum algorithms targeting commercial viability by 2026
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers
- Develop novel error-correction techniques for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Collaborate with industry partners to implement quantum solutions in finance, logistics, and healthcare
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Secure external funding through NSF and DoE grants
- Mentor junior researchers and establish quantum computing curriculum
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of hands-on quantum computing research experience
- Published work in quantum algorithm development or qubit stabilization
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong background in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Experience leading technical teams and managing research projects
