Responsibilities
- Design and execute quantum computing research roadmaps aligned with 2026 technological milestones
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing novel quantum algorithms for real-world applications
- Collaborate with hardware teams to overcome quantum decoherence and scalability challenges
- Secure patents and publish breakthrough research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Drive partnerships with academic institutions and quantum hardware providers
- Develop quantum security protocols for post-quantum cryptography standards
- Mentor next-generation quantum researchers through our 2026 Fellowship Program
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 8+ years of research experience
- Proven track record of publishing in Nature/Science or equivalent quantum computing journals
- Expertise in quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, VQE) and error correction codes
- Hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Strong background in superconducting qubits or ion trap systems
- Experience leading R&D teams with $5M+ budgets
- Deep understanding of NISQ-era limitations and fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures
- Published work in quantum machine learning or quantum cryptography
