Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for practical applications in finance, logistics, and healthcare
- Conduct experimental research on quantum coherence and error correction methodologies
- Lead cross-functional teams to translate theoretical models into functional quantum circuits
- Develop predictive models for quantum advantage timelines across industry verticals
- Author breakthrough publications and patents in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize quantum processor architectures
- Present research findings to investors, government agencies, and industry partners
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years of research experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Cirq, Qiskit) and circuit design
- Published work in quantum error correction or fault-tolerant systems
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
- Experience with quantum simulation frameworks (Qiskit Aer, Quil, TensorFlow Quantum)
- Demonstrated ability to secure competitive research grants and industry partnerships
- Deep understanding of NISQ-era limitations and 2026 quantum roadmap projections
