Responsibilities
- Design and execute quantum algorithm experiments using 100+ qubit processors
- Develop error-correction protocols for quantum coherence optimization
- Lead cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions into classical systems
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and industry whitepapers
- Secure patents for novel quantum computing methodologies
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum physics and computational theory
- Collaborate with hardware teams to advance quantum processor architectures
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing research with 50+ qubit systems
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing
- Publication record in Nature/Science or equivalent peer-reviewed journals
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Quil, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum information theory and quantum mechanics
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems and control electronics
