Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for NISQ-era hardware optimization
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing error-correction methodologies
- Author peer-reviewed publications for top-tier journals (Nature/Science)
- Collaborate with hardware teams to validate quantum processor performance
- Identify commercial applications for quantum advantage in finance and logistics
- Mentor junior researchers through our Quantum Fellowship Program
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or related field with 3+ years research experience
- Published work in quantum algorithm development or quantum error correction
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Experience with superconducting qubit or trapped-ion systems
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
- Proven ability to secure research grants (NSF/DOE preferred)
