Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for cryptography optimization and machine learning acceleration
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing scalable quantum error-correction protocols
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize qubit coherence times and gate fidelities
- Author peer-reviewed publications and present breakthrough findings at international conferences
- Partner with enterprise clients to deploy quantum solutions in finance, logistics, and pharmaceuticals
- Secure federal and private research funding through grant proposals and technical documentation
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years of research experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and circuit optimization
- Published record in quantum error correction or topological quantum computing
- Proficiency with high-performance computing environments and quantum simulators
- Experience securing NSF or DoE quantum research grants preferred
