Responsibilities
- Design and execute quantum algorithms for real-world applications in cryptography and optimization
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype quantum solutions for Fortune 500 partners
- Publish breakthrough research in peer-reviewed journals and industry whitepapers
- Develop quantum error-correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant systems
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to open-source quantum frameworks
- Secure patents for novel quantum methodologies and architectures
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize quantum circuit designs
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years quantum research experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and simulation tools
- Published work in quantum information science or quantum machine learning
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence and error mitigation strategies
- Experience with superconducting or photonic quantum computing platforms
- Strong background in linear algebra, complex analysis, and statistical mechanics
