Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for cryptography optimization
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum hardware interfaces
- Publish peer-reviewed research in Nature/Science journals
- Develop quantum-safe blockchain infrastructure for Fortune 500 clients
- Mentor PhD interns in quantum machine learning frameworks
- Secure $5M+ in government innovation grants
- Present findings at global quantum summits (Davos, CES 2026)
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics or Computer Science from R1 institution
- 3+ years experience with quantum annealing or superconducting qubits
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or Q# programming environments
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological computing
- Security clearance preferred for DoD quantum projects
- Experience with AWS Braket or Azure Quantum
- Track record of translating theory to commercial applications
