Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation
- Develop error-correction techniques to enhance quantum coherence
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum processors
- Publish research in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum conferences
- Collaborate with hardware teams on qubit scalability and stability
- Secure patents for quantum computing methodologies
- Mentor PhD researchers in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum frameworks
- Publication record in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Experience with superconducting or trapped-ion quantum systems
- Strong background in linear algebra and complex analysis
- US citizenship required for government contract compliance
